2 tablespoons Chinese rice cooking wine (Shaoxing wine)

2 tablespoons light soy sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 teaspoons sugar

½ teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons fermented black beans, drained and rinsed

Rinse pork ribs, drain well, and pat dry.

In a mixing bowl, combine pork with Chinese wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, salt, and sugar. Mix well and marinate for 20–30 minutes.
