24 bone-in chicken wings (flats and drummies)

2 ½ tbsp vegetable oil
-
1 tsp salt
-
1 tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp paprika
-
¾ cup BBQ sauce
-
½ tbsp soy sauce
-
2 tbsp honey
-
1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
Sliced carrot sticks, celery sticks, and ranch dressing for dipping
Directions
-
Prep the Wings:
Remove the chicken wings from the package and pat them dry. This ensures they get crispy while cooking. -
Season the Wings:
In a bowl, toss the wings with vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until well-coated. -
Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2 minutes. -
Cook the Wings:
Place the wings in the air fryer basket, making sure they aren’t overlapping. Air fry at 400°F for 8 minutes, flip the wings, and cook for an additional 7 minutes.
If cooking in batches, keep the first batch warm while the second batch cooks. -
Make the Sauce:
While the wings cook, mix together BBQ sauce, soy sauce, honey, hot sauce (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl. -
Toss the Wings in Sauce:
Once the wings are cooked, place them in a clean bowl and toss them in the prepared sauce until well coated. -
Serve:
Serve with carrot and celery sticks and ranch dressing for dipping.
